Apology

Since my web site first came online in 2001, have had countless e-mails in response to this site. I have tried to keep up with them throughout the years, but I do know there have been several times when I was unable to respond back to those with sincere comments and questions. For this, I truly apologize. I always wanted to respond to anyone who took the time to write me, but regretfully I wasn't able to.

There are basically three reasons why this has happened:

First, for whatever reason, there have been times when I seem to get bombarded with so many e-mails that it is literally impossible for me to respond to everyone (the most extreme example I experienced in 2003, receiving 50 or so e-mails PER  DAY). Usually the bombardment is much less than 50 per day, but it is still overwhelming enough that I cannot respond to everybody.

The second reason concerns mostly me. Sometimes I just have too much going on and I am unable to respond to anyone. This is not necessarily because I'm being bombarded with e-mails (although that could make it worse). Sometimes I have gotten just a few e-mails per week, and for whatever personal reasons, could not respond. Again, I am very sorry.

The third reason doesn't have much to do with me. I also know there have been SEVERAL instances where people have told me they e-mailed me, but I know I never received anything. I have my e-mail set up to receive from anyone, but for some reason sometimes it just does not go through. I'm sorry if this has happened to you, but I don't know what I could do to fix it.

So basically, if you have written me in the past and never received a response, I want you to know that I'm truly sorry and definitely do appreciate your e-mail. I do read everything I get, so most likely I did get your message unless the e-mail totally didn't go through (which I'm hoping does not happen very much, but there's no way of truly knowing).

Thank you for taking the time to write me... And if this continues to happen to anyone in the future, please know that this apology applies to you as well. I'm so sorry and I will continue to try my best.
